The JP 21Rally is intended to the drivers avid to have performance and quality JP Racing without investing in an expensive engine. Its crankshaft is diameter 14mm. Its sleeve is endowed with 7 ports and the piston made with an alloy of aluminum-silicon. The sleeve with 7 ports was selected to combine performance and quality without other concession. The JP 21Rally is endowed with high-speed main bearing as on all the JP Racing engines. This engine is intended for the 1/8 Rally Game car.

Black Crankcase JP21 Rally

The JP 21 Rally Stock version is endowed with a completely comparable crankcase with the other FX 21 engines. This crankcase tested for several years on the series FX Engine is very strong and perfectly machined for an engine of this price. This quality crankcase will insure the JP 21Rally Stock a very high level of performance.
This Black crankcase is, as on all crankcases modified JP Racing, the label of the JP brand and its identity since 20 years.

WARNING: Place the piston in the top dead center (PMS) before removing the rear cover.
The opponent of this warning may break the piston against the rear cover's groove.

Cylinder Head JP 21 Rally

The JP 21 Rally cooling head is endowed with 9 large ribs. Shape and size are specially studied for an optimal cooling of this Rally JP Engine. The blue colour head is engraved Rally and JP.

Insert Turbo

Head Insert "TURBO"

The insert is a "Turbo" version to give an optimal performance to the JP 21 P-7L Black.

WARNING: It is very important to use only a Novarossi Glow Plug for this engine. Only this Glow Plug is perfectly adapted with this insert. The use of other brands can make the engine instable and damage the insert and the piston sleeve.

7 Ports ABC Piston Sleeve

This ABC sleeve 7 ports is selected to obtain an optimal performance. The structure of its ports optimizes performance and the fuel consumption of this engine. The piston is casted with a special alloy of aluminum. It's drilled with 2 holes for a better lubrication of the connecting rod and to decrease the temperature of the piston's top.
Every piston sleeve set are fine tuned for optimum timing and better gas flow compared to Stock version. Each piston and sleeve manualluy fixed to check optimum tightening and best compression.

Crankshaft TURBO

The crankshaft of the JP 21 Rally Black was drawn for a perfect balancing without addition of balancing masses. The diameter of the body of the crankshaft is 14 mm. The hole inside the shaft is slightly conical for a better flow. As all the JP Racing engines and it since more of 20 years, the red dough comes to fill the crankshaft's hole for a low weight and improves the gas flow.
Like the piston sleeve set, each shaft is fine tuned for optimum timing and better gas flow compared to Stock version.

WARNING: Using the shaft for cleaning purpose in solvent or gasoline may cause damage the red dough.

Carburettor 9mm

Carburetor 9mm

The 9mm carburetor of the JP 21Rally is endowed with a plastic body to avoid the "vapor-lock". This carburetor is delivered with a reducer of 8.5mm green. Its also available in different sizes. As on all the engines JP carburettor, the adjustment of the metering needle is made with only one screw for a more constant and easy setting.
