The JP 21 B-3 version is endowed with a completely comparable crankcase with the other engines FX Engine 21. This crankcase tested for several years on the series FX Engine is very strong and perfectly machined for an engine of this price. This quality crankcase will insure the JP 21 B-3 a very high level of performance.
This Black crankcase is, as on all crankcases modified JP Racing, the label of the JP brand and its identity since 20 years.
WARNING: Place the piston on the top dead center (PMS) before removing the rear cover.
The JP 21 B-3 cylinder head is endowed with 9 large ribs. Shape and size are specially studied for an optimal cooling of this Off-Road engine. The blue colour head is engraved JP and B3.
The insert fixed on this engine is a "Normal" type. The JP 21 B-3 insert is foreseen to receive a Normal glow-plug.
The Normal glow-plug used with this insert allows an easy tuning of the engine.

This ABC sleeve 3 ports is selected to obtain an optimal performance. The structure of its ports optimizes performance and the fuel consumption of this engine. The piston is casted with a special alloy of aluminium. It's drilled with 2 holes for a better lubrication of the connecting rod and to decrease the temperature of the top of the piston.
Every piston sleeve set are fine tuned for optimum timing and better gas flow compared to Stock version. Each piston and sleeve manualluy fixed to check optimum tightening and best compression.
The crankshaft of the JP 21 B-3 was drawn for a correct balancing without addition of masses of balancing. The diameter of the body of the crankshaft is 14 mm. The hole inside the shaft is slightly conical for a better flow. As all the engines JP Racing and it since more of 20 years, the red dough comes to fill the crankshaft's hole for a low weight and improves the gas flow. This shaft is coated HardBlack like all the Black JP Racing engine.
Like the piston sleeve set, each shaft is fine tuned for optimum timing and better gas flow compared to Stock version.
WARNING: Using the shaft for cleaning purpose in solvent or gasoline may cause damage the red dough.
The 8mm carburetor of the JP 21B-3 is endowed with a plastic body to avoid the "vapor-lock". This carburetor is delivered with a reducer of 8mm red. Its also available in different sizes. As on all the engines JP carburetor, the adjustment of the metering needle is made with only one screw for a more constant and easy setting
