The crankcase of Eagle12's model is consolidate to receive the engine mount. The top of the crankcase was redesigned to accommodate the piston sleeve whose collar is higher and wider specific in Eagle 12 engine.
This Black crankcase is, as on all crankcases modified JP Racing, the label of the JP brand and its identity since 20 years.
The rear cover is specific to this longer stroke engine. A groove was performed to receive the piston in the lower-end position.
WARNING :Place the piston on the top dead center (PMS) before removing the rear cover.
The Eagle 21 TL-3T's cylinder head is endowed with 6 cooling ribs. Its shape and size are designed for optimum cooling and its getting down the center of gravity of the engine.The blue colour head is engraved TL-3 and JP.
The insert is specific to Turbo in Eagle TL-3T engine and it has been tested and researched for a longtime to end optimize compression and holding glow plug in racing. Its length important entering the sleeve allows maximum tight without deformation of the sleeve. The engine is individually shimmed for equal performance to all engine production. Its larger insert allows an optimal cooling with the cylinder head.
WARNING : It is very important to use Novarossi glow plugs for this engine. Only Novarossi glow plugs insure an assembly and a perfect connection with the head insert. Some glow plugs could bring the engine impossible to adjust and damage insert and piston/sleeve set.

Conforming to 100% with the EFRA and IFMAR rules, the 3 ports piston sleeve Eagle 12 TL-3T has been completely redesigned. Longer stroke, larger collar, different exhaust and ports in shape and timing, Eagle engine is absolutely different for more greater performance compared to old one. The piston is, as the evolution of FX 12 T-03 model, specially designed on the top for a better flow in the cylinder and combustion chamber. The conrod is endowed with 2 brass rings with high quality alloy which has been the subject of aeronautical control type for optimal reliability proven the performance of this new engine.
Every piston sleeve set are fine tuned for optimum timing and better gas flow compared to Stock version. Each piston and sleeve manualluy fixed to check optimum tightening and best compression.
The crankshaft's design of Eagle 12 TL-3T gives this engine very strong acceleration and adapted to the performance. The balance is studied for this new engine and gives to the Eagle's bearings a great longevity. The design and shape are made for a perfect gas flow. To further enhance performance, the timing has been further improved and without concession to consumption remains extremely low for an engine as powerful. Like all the Eagle line, the crankshaft is HardBlack coated, a red putty, used for over 20 years on JP Racing engines, is placed in designed hole of the crankshaft to improve gas flow.
Like the piston sleeve set, each shaft is fine tuned for optimum timing and better gas flow compared to Stock version.
WARNING: Do not put the shaft inside solvent or gasoline for cleaning.

The carburetor is aluminum with interchangeable reducer of 5.4 mm. As on all JP Engines the idle setting is limited on a single screw to adjust even easier and user friendly. This carburetor has already proved its worth and confer with Eagle 12 TL-3T engine a great stability setting and excellent performance.
